Standard wastewater connections

In Auckland most wastewater is carried by gravity pipes. These can be connected by a drainlayer who is licensed or certified by the New Zealand Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board (NZPGDB).

To check whether your drainlayer has a current licence, search the register on the PGDB website.

If we consider the job to be complex, a maintenance contractor will need to do the work. Learn more: Complex wastewater connections
